How to Enable 2FA for Microsoft

Protect your Microsoft account — including Outlook, OneDrive, Xbox and Microsoft 365 — with two-factor authentication using Authenticator App.

1. Go to account.microsoft.com/security and sign in.
2. Select Advanced security options.
3. Under Two-step verification, choose Turn on.
4. Choose An app as your verification method, then select Set up a different Authenticator app.
5. Scan the QR code with Authenticator App, then enter the generated 6-digit code to confirm.
