How to Enable 2FA for Instagram

Protect your Instagram profile from account takeovers by enabling two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

1. Open Instagram and go to your profile, then tap the menu and choose Settings and privacy.
2. Select Accounts Center → Password and security.
3. Tap Two-factor authentication and choose your Instagram account.
4. Select Authentication app.
5. Scan the QR code with Authenticator App and enter the generated code to finish.
